How do i find good clothing when i hate shopping?

I am in desperate need of a new wardrobe. All of my clothing is old and starting to fall apart. I luckily live in an area where this isn't much of a big deal. But i would like to have nicer clothing.

The problem is i hate shopping. I never find anything i like enough to buy and i just find the whole experience horrible

What should I do? I have tried looking online but the number of choices is just too much for me.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Your best bet is probably on line shopping. You can make it even simpler by finding a store you like and a website that is easy to shop on. Stores like Penney's have a good website but there are many depending on what you call "good". Macy's also is good. If you can tolerate a shopping trip once in a while, try an outlet that deals in high end clothes. In Maryland we have Filene's Basement that is all designer. Try to really become acquainted with a great web site and a great sale day. You can limit your exposure to shopping then

I typically shop online because I don't like in store clothing shopping. But you are right there are just so many choices it can be overwhelming. What I do is choose a store and look at a few things and put them in my cart. I save the cart if I can, or I leave the webpage open. I look at a couple more stores and do the same and then I leave it. I repeat the process a couple times more and then I take one session to review the carts. Sometimes I print the pictures out to review them sort of like a catalog. I usually only choose one thing from each store until I see how the sizes run. Once I have ordered from a store a couple of times I may order a few things at a time. I try to order one thing every couple of months so it doesn't become such a big undertaking.
