How do I find GE's next scheduled dividend?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The next 'x-div date' is December 24 and the next payment date is December 26, 2008. The dividend is $0.31, as it has been for a couple of years. General Electric has said that it expects to continue to pay its dividend for at least a year.

GE pays dividends late in each calendar quarter. You cannot know the exact date until it is declared by GE.

There will be a payment date and an "of record" date.
For example payable on March 29 to shareholders of record March 15. This means that if you bought the stock after March 15, you do not get the dividend.

See:

for an example
