Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Based on 'Gulrez' advise, a Microsoft Support, Moderator, in solving error code: WindowsUpdate_00000646, he suggested the following steps:

Step 1: Reset Windows Update components

Use the “Fix it” provided in the link below

In this case , you had better scan your Windows registry to remove all of the potential threats completely. Most of Windows exe errors are related to registry problems. In such case, you need to scan your Windows registry totally. An outstanding registry cleaner can help you do the job professionally.

One solution I have found is that you have to go to your User Account Control and turn it off.

Go in Control Panel/User Accounts/Turn User Account Control on or off
(you'll be turning it off at this point) Restart your computer. Once
Windows is back up, install the updates. No problem. Once you're done
installing, turn UAC back on. This is simpler. You can do this in Windows
Security Update.

Another solution is to take a look at each update and try to install them one at a time. Copy the KB numbers from the update and search for these updates on windows.com. Download each of these updates from Windows.com and this will hopefully work.
