How can I put on weight?

I need to put on weight. Please share any ideas.

In order to gain weight, you need to adopt a two-pronged approach: diet and exercise. Include weight training in your workout routine. This will help you build muscle, and build strong bones, thus helping you gain weight. Exercises like squats, deadifts, dips and presses are the best exercises to gain weight and build muscle. However don’t go overboard and exercise for more than an hour. It will simply lead to breaking down of the muscle and will not help you achieve your goal.

Eat muscle building foods like milk, meats, eggs, fruits, veggies, nuts and legumes. Don’t forget to drink water to prevent a flat look. Get plenty of sleep as sleep helps in secretion of muscle building hormones that will boost your muscle building. Also include deep breathing exercises and meditation as stress has been shown to break down your muscle building. However avoid junk and processed food as it will lead to fat gain, thus giving you a bulky look.
