How can I put a password on my browser Google Chrome?

I share my laptop with other people. And I want Google Chrome to be only used by ME. Is there any way to keep others from accessing it?
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There are probably a few different ways to handle this, but unfortunately, there is no "Master Password" in Google Chrome. There are a number of programs that can apply application passwords and/or you could create a multi-user environment and not install Chrome for all users, but unfortunately, there isn't a slick solution within Chrome. Firefox does have this capability and Google will probably figure it out eventually, but they aren't quite there yet.
