How can I print a grid out using OpenOffice?

To print a grid using OpenOffice: Go to the menu Format > Page > Sheet, and check the box "Grid".
If the above does not seem to work for you, it is possible to print a grid using an empty spreadsheet that can print the cell grid. Note that you will have to enter some spaces in the bottom cells but calc. will not print beyond the lines that have some content.
To have more control over theappearance of your grid lines you can use Draw and make your grid.
