Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

You call him up and play the Daddy's little girl/boy which ever you are. You tell him you sure miss him....that you were thinking of a certain time in the past with him involved. You start to sniff and then come out with the question, "Don't you love me Dad?" It was Christmas...the happiest time of the year and you forgot me. I think that this is going to affect me even 20 years from now....I don't know how I am going to get by. "Can I please have $150 dollars for some school clothes."
If all else fails....find some part time work and jump into adulthood!!!!

It's very possible that something came up on your father's end--some type of financial hardship or unexpected large expense--and he may perhaps not be able to send you the money, even if he did mention it before Christmas.

This is your father, so why not be straightforward, honest and polite and simply ask. You might say something like, "Dad, you'd mentioned sending me some money for Christmas. If you're unable to do so, that's completely okay, but I was just wondering if you still plan to send it? I was planning to use it for school clothes."

If he can't send it, I wouldn't pressure him. Simply say you understand, tell him you love him, and talk about something else.
