September.
Here where I live in New Hampshire United States, September is a versatile month. Summer is cooling down during the evenings, the days are still warm but less humid than the dog days of August.
Sometimes you can smell Summer leaving and Autumn arriving. At the latter half of September, the leaves start to change and the foliage here is fantastic to see.
September is one of those transitional months in NH, and the transition from one season to the next is my favorite time of year.

August is MY favourite month. Not only because it is my birthday in that month but also because I associate it with summer and holidays. August is a time of vacation and relaxation and even though it signalizes the end of summer it is actually all the more enjoyable because you know that the last warm days are soon passing by and work or school or university is around the corner.

My favorite month is May.
It's the merry merry month. When all things have started to bloom after the showers of April.
It's the month of rebirth. I visited an Amish farm a few years ago and witnessed every animal on the farm with new babies. From the cows and pigs, down to the ducks and cats.
It's a reminder that life does come back after the harsh cold of winter.
(it's also the month of my birthday!)

I like December. It is the end of the year. It is cold. Holidays to cheer up. Busy with gift ideas and happy with receiving. There is a New year coming with hope.

The answer was detailed and clear and although September isn't my favorite month I could see why the author liked this month so much.
My favorite month is August, Schools out for summer and I normally take a vacation that month. The weather is generally good and it's light until late here in the United-Kingdom.
