Regarding #6, voltage measures potential difference, not surprise. The units for measuring current are Amperes, sometimes shortened to Amps (not to be confused with amplifiers). The symbol for Ampere is A. Smaller currents can be measured in milli-Amperes (mA) which are 1/1000 A.

If your physics textbook doesn't say what charge is on an Electron, you're going to need a better textbook.
