What options exist in noise isolating headphones to press a button to pass thru sound
I'm a long-time user of Bose QC2 (and recently QC3) noise canceling headphones. I've recently spent more time using in-ear, noise isolating headphones from Shure. I find the noise isolating headphones work MUCH better at drowning out voices. Unfortunately, that's both the issue and the blessing. Most of the time I want the total isolation the in-ear headphones give m, including masking voices. Once in a while, though, I'd like to be able to push a button and hear what someone is saying so I don't have to remove the in ear isolating headphones. I feel I've read of such headphones before but can't find any now. Any ideas? I'm looking for some headphones of Shure's quality (I paid $200 for these) but just want a pass-thru button.
