I hate to clean my shower. It's the principle of it more than anything else. I never have time to clean when I'm showering, but that's when I notice it needs it. It's not fair shower! You should be self cleaning. You are such an underachiever. Stupid shower.

However, I don't really mind the other household stuff, because I do like for things to be somewhat neat and clean. And yet, even as I type that, I'm looking at a bunch of junk that really needs to get off my desk and back to proper places! Hehe.

And... to make matters worse, my vacuum broke (a week ago) and I haven't picked up a new one. It always looks worse when you have all wooden floors.
The dust seems to come from nowhere and look bigger than it really is!

But you know what? I love doing dishes. Seriously. I find it weirdly soothing and satisfying.

Tie between laundry & vacuuming, Hate both!
I'm dying to get a Roomba but my roommate says they're creepy and it might attack her in her sleep or something. Not sure what damage a floor-bound robot could do to her in her bed, but she mostly vacuums anyway, so I can't really complain. (Well I could, but that would mean I was a hypocritical jerk.)
And the laundry, the laundry, the laundry. I sometimes think it will attack me in my sleep! And what a classic exercise in futility--you wash the clothes and the next week you have a new pile of dirty ones. In this age of advanced technology I'm waiting for disposable clothes that look good, are biodegradable and good for the environment. Any budding inventors reading this???

I don't mind the laundry- I HATE doing the trash. Every Tues where I live everyone puts the trash out for Wed pickup. Since my one roommate has been very ill, I've been put in charge of not only collecting all the trash bags in the house, but changing two litter boxes and taking all of it out to the trash cans, and putting the cans on the street. Very smelly duty, which I could do without LOL

I hate pretty much any housework or yardwork that involves stirring up dust, pollen, et cetera, because my sinuses go crazy and I start hacking and sneezing all over the place. However, I don't really mind the other household stuff, because I do like for things to be somewhat neat and clean. And yet, even as I type that, I'm looking at a bunch of junk that really needs to get off my desk and back to proper places! Hehe.

Mud and soil on the floors and sand all coming in from my four young children all under 8. I hate to stop them form digging ditches and playing in the sandbox and I can't imagine stripping them of their shoes every time they come in to go to the bathroom. We have all hardwood floors and I am always sweeping. Also they end up on the furniture sitting down for a drink and lunch and it is an never ending cycle. CHILDREN, dirty little children having fun at my expense. muddy fingerprints on everything too, thanks to my one year old son.

I hate any chore involving dishes. I dislike putting them in the dishwasher, taking them out, and god forbid I ever have to actually wash any of them by hand! http://i42.tinypic.com/3305hlv.jpg

I know it's been mentioned here before, but dust is my biggest enemy (allergies galore!) And... to make matters worse, my vacuum broke (a week ago) and I haven't picked up a new one. It always looks worse when you have all wooden floors.

I hate sweeping/mopping the floor. HATE IT! I don't know why. Someday I will have a Roomba and a Scooba and I'll be done with whole concept forever. But for now I'll just suffer through, I guess. I once had a roommate who loved mopping the floor. She'd do it almost daily, sometimes twice. It was awesome! But you know what? I love doing dishes. Seriously. I find it weirdly soothing and satisfying.
