The easiest solution would be, as the poster above said, to keep windows and curtains/blinds shut during the day, and then open the windows when it cools off at night. However, there will be weeks (or longer) where that isn't a very effective solution. From there, your #1 option is a portable air conditioner that vents out a window. I've posted a link from Amazon below, but they are available at a variety of department stores including Lowe's, Home Depot, Wal-Mart and Sears: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=portable+air+conditioner&x=0&y=0

Keep your blinds closed during the day, and buy one of thses. You don't have to worry about putting it in your window, and it can be easily moved to different rooms. http://www.portableairshop.com/PAC8000S-Koldfront-8000-BTU-Ultra-Compact-Portable-Air-Conditioner/PAC8000S,default,pd.html?cgid=Residential_Portable_Air_Conditioners
