Need a small coffee crushing device.

I am looking at a gallon of coffee cherries that I need to crush so that I can extract the beans.
Do you know of a small device that will do this?

What you need is called a "coffee pulper" and they are rather expensive. The machines can range between $300 and $1200, some are powered by a motor, others cranked by hand. I'd check Ebay or post in their "want it now" section. I doubt you would want to invest in a new one for just one 'batch' of coffee cherries.

Thank you for your answer. Actually, I have 26 coffee trees. I usually put two cups of cherries in a 1 gallon plastic ziplock bag and pound the heck out of them with a rubber mallet. So getting one of those coffee pulpers would be nice. I have seen them wholesale as your last two websites have shown. What I need is a source where I can buy one.

I see...wow 26 coffee trees! I would be in heaven with 26 coffee trees you have no idea...
Anyway, the ziplock bag and mallet deal sounds messy...but, I can't track down a place that sells something you could use to get the job done. However, I did find a great list of resources, maybe you will find an expert that can help.

I recommend the Breville BCG450XL Conical Burr Grinder, it works great and grinds those coffee beans.

Thank you, but that is for the last step in the process. I need something that can handle the first process. These are red coffee cherries that come fresh off of the tree. They have to be mashed before the bean is extracted.
