if you are doing something such as mosaic work, like i do, just go to the dumpsters behind tile places and grab it on their dumping days. some places put out their discards on a certain day of the week or month.
i never buy tile!

you can try calling local tile and/flooring outlets and ask them if they've got end lots, or discontinued tile that they're getting rid of. sometimes they'll tell you that they were just about to throw some away, and come get it free or charge you a very nominal fee. if you are doing something such as mosaic work, like i do, just go to the dumpsters behind tile places and grab it on their dumping days. some places put out their discards on a certain day of the week or month.
