I am looking for the name of a chili plant that has different color chili's on it.

I saw 1 at a farmers market and it had red, green, yellow and purple chili's on it. It was in a pot and had a sign saying it was a marado sol chili plant, but I haven't been able to find one. I believe it was both ornamental and edible. I would love to find out the name of the plant. Thank You in advance for your help.

Sounds like it could be a Bolivian Rainbow plant. That's the only one I'm aware of that has purple chilis. Check out the photos at the Google Images link (http://images.google.ca/images?um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&channel=s&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=Bolivian+Rainbow+Plant&btnG=Search+Images ) and see if this is anything like what you saw.

There's a kind of jalapeno which has multicolored chilis:

NuMex Pinata jalapeno

"...noted for being tasty throughout its colour transformation (from green to yellow to orange to red)"
