It all depends on who made the flatware. What design is on the handles, as some patterns are more collectible and desirable than others. And the last factor would be the condition of your flatware set. Especially since it's silverplated. So how much of the plating is intact and not worn off. And if the tarnish on the surface is able to be cleaned up to its originally brightness. Also if the working ends of the flatware is in good shape and not bent or worn down (the fork tips, knife blades, the spoon bowls not dented or worn on their tips).
And if the flatware is in really good clean usable condition, you probably could get more for your set through a consignment shop or online auction, than at a yard sale.
