"May the log burn"
"May the wheel turn"
"May evil spurn"
"May the Sun return"

This is a great poem to use when burning your Yule log. When the ashes cool you can put them into some type of vessel and keep them in the house to protect the home from fire for the coming year.

"From the darkness is born the light, From void, fulfillment emerges... The darkest night of the year's at the threshold, Open now the door, and honor the darkness."
(this is a small part of a Winter Solstice ritual available at the link below)

I quite like this, and even if you do not use the whole thing, perhaps it could provide some inspiration. I have always thought the most effective tools are that which we forge ourselves. Rather than adopting a poem completely, I think you should consider familiarizing yourself with several and then creating one yourself. If you will be reciting as part of a group activity, you might even want to create the poem as a group, allowing all the participants to contribute.

Many yule lyrics can be found in celtic music. If you go to ITunes and search for the group GOLDEN BOUGH you could purchase individual songs that are appropriate for your yule celebration. I recommend the following tunes.

Drive The Cold Winter Away
Christmas Morning
