I don't see how this is deceptive advertising.
In the current chart, Aquasana does appear before Aqua-Pure. This one product is not in alphabetical order: Aquasana, Aqua-Pure, Brita, Brita, Culligan, eSpring, Everpure, GE, Kenmore, PUR
Look at the site in February 2008. You will see that the entire list is out of order:
Aquasana, Amway,Culligan, Kenmore, GE, Ever Pure, Aqua-Pure, PUR, Brita, Brita
Both charts favor the Aquasana product. And _surprise_! The author is a stakeholder in the manufacturer. I think the only people who are deceived are the people who can't read English. The web site clearly indicates the source of the chart material (from the product package or from the mfrs). The web site also indicates the stake in the product.
Apparently talk of this "deception" has been circulating for several years. Some people seem offended.

To me, the 'About Us' description is clear. Should someone question the motives of a product comparison, that is the first page to seek. Second would be the domain registration data. If you needed more info, you could look for SEC filings (publicly traded entities) or run a D&B (Dunn and Bradstreet) profile for the company and the principal names.
I don't see any deception. Favoritism? Maybe in order of listing. If the chart data is in question...how do they compare to the mfr's specs? The same? Then why all the complaining?
Honestly. Whining about sitting in the wrong alphabetical order? This isn't elementary school. It's the wild-wild-web. Grow a thicker skin.
Sounds like a disgruntled competitor making the rounds of forums.
Curiously, your join date here at Mahalo is April 23, 2009. The same day as this question. And...this is your only question. No comments.
More suspicion? Deception? Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

#6 in the Mahalo 7 for Water Purifiers is an fake comparison site for Aquasauna. Check the "About Us" page: Sun Water Systems, Inc
Also, look at the comparison list that's arranged "alphabetically" Aqua-Pure would come before Aquasauna. Check Aquasauna's about us page and you'll see: Aquasana Home Water Filtration products are manufactured by Sun Water Systems, Inc. Isn't this deceptive advertising? Wonder how many people they fool everyday?
