Next Question
Have you checked out http://www.mirbit.com ?
It should offer you 2 solutions to what you are looking for:
1) in the cardz section you can choose from a bunch of great pre-made cards that you can customize with your own text, speech bubbles, and personal messages...and then send as an ecard or print it as a traditional card. Their Christmas ones are really nice, and should fit your 'classy' need. (and there are no ads on the site yet--i think its new)
2) in the dragz section, you can actually make your own ecard. Upload a photo, and then add Christmas frames/borders to it, along with the options to add santa hats, elf hats, etc. to the people in the photo, and then you can email it to friends with a message, print it as a traditional greeting card, or save it to your computer (by saving it, I was able to use the Christmas card I had made as my Facebook profile pic).
The site's totally free and easy to use, so I hope it helps! (oh and the card/photo is included in the email, so the recipient doesn't have to click through a bunch of stuff just to view it!)

If you check out http://thecardchest.com/ you will find the cleanest interface you have ever seen on an e-card site. Plus the when someone views there card, it doesn't include their site in it at all....the card fills the entire window.
Everyone agree this is as 'classy' as it gets when it comes to e-cards?

We have a paid account with Bluemountain.com and their ecards have ads - one below and one to the right. It's really unattractive and inappropriate. I am currently looking for another ecard source. That's why I came here.

If you're willing to pay $12 for a year Jacquie Lawson has the classiest ecards on the internet. The music is great and the cards are very well done. Anytime I've sent one to a friend I get a very possitive response. Though it costs a little it's worth it over the course of a year and it's much cheaper than buying cards in a store. Ok, after looking through the posts I think I might be the only one to have a real answer here. If you check out http://thecardchest.com/ you will find the cleanest interface you have ever seen on an e-card site.
