I tried not doing it one year and I really thought my family was going to disown them. There is something about receiving cookies and candy homemade that makes people so happy!
This is actually a great tradition I started because my daughter and her daughter are now involved in it.

I started a tradition in my family about 10 years ago. Every one in my family gets a tray full of goodies. I usually go to the Dollar Tree and get plastic trays shaped like a tree, Santa or a snowman. These are $1.00 and they get to use them over and over again. I tried not doing it one year and I really thought my family was going to disown them. There is something about receiving cookies and candy homemade that makes people so happy!
