Does Santa Claus deliver presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

I am always fast asleep as I should be so I miss him each year. When does Santa start delivering toys and goodies to everyone?

Santa Claus actually delivers presents all throughout the holiday season, depending on where you live. He actually visits the children in some parts of France on December 6 for the Feast of St. Nicholas. In other parts of France he comes on Christmas Eve night.

He starts on Christmas Eve and works throughout the night so that kids have all their presents by Christmas morning.
