For Valentine's day, I make breakfast for my wife. Crepes w/ Pure Maple Syrup, Fresh Strawberry Preserves, and Confectioner's Sugar. They're simple to make.

Mix the wet ingredients first or you'll have a hard time mixing it.

My husband loves this recipe. I don't add the tomato paste however. I also thicken the gravy by adding flour to the broth after the steak is cooked. I serve it with mashed potatoes. It tastes awesome.

I'm not much of a cook, but baking is another thing entirely.  So, a dessert reccomendation:

Last year I baked an "Espresso-Infused Flourless Chocolate Cake" with raspberry sauce for topping. To spruce it up, serve it with a few fresh raspberries and a fresh mint leaf on top.
