I'm half way there. hopefully today will be the last day I have to shop because Tues. I need to start cooking for 2 Christmas parties.
Technically, no. But the last gift I'm buying is theatre tickets, so I can print the confirmation sheet and wrap that :). I do have two gifts still in shipping - one that was "delayed" and one that I didn't purchase until yesterday with express shipping, so we'll see if those show up.
Come to think of it I probably should buy tickets first, and answer questions later. :)

It seems like no matter how early I start my shopping, I always think of a few last minute things I need. I have a few things to pick up today and then I'm done. Hoorray!
I should be, but I keep seeing great deals which remind me of someone on my list and I'm being impulsive and purchasing them. Someone needs to pry my fingers away from the keyboard!
Yes I am. Finished last Friday the 19th
I started early this year. finished shopping nov 30th
I finished my shopping and my wrapping about 2-3 weeks ago. You have to be able to know when to stop.. It's so easy to overshop. Your kids/friends/parents aren't going to care if they get one more present or not (usually).
If your shopping for 2 kids, or 2 parents, or something like that, it's always, "A got $30 more presents than B, so now I have to find something for $30 for B".. But then they have uneven number, and then you see something else B would love so you have to match it for A. They really won't notice if they are a couple presents uneven... When you get to the point you think you have enough, you have to put down the cash and swear off shopping until boxing day.
This is the first year I've successfully been able to do that. Though I still have that "need to buy more" urge, I am just ignoring it :).

Wish I had money to do any shopping.
the answer then would be yes ;) or it could be no if you had money. anyway, the facts presented do not answer the question on what your answer would possibly be. undecided answers are not an answer to the question presented. How much money would you need then to shop? Or you don't really want to spend what little money you have on somebody else??
I finished the shopping a few weeks ago, and just finished the wrapping yesterday ;)
Almost! I only have a few people left. :)
Yes! Since I don't celebrate Christmas. I enjoy buying people presents 365 days a year.
With this economy I was done before I got started.
Yep, done couple weeks ago. Started early and went ahead when I saw deals...
I have two things yet to buy. Unfortunately I only know what one of them is. :-/
unfortunately, not yet. I have some nephews and neices to get presents for. They are always the hardest to shop for because we don't know what they are "In To". So it's normally, go to the toy stoy and look for a toy that is marked for their age or a year older.
Yes. I purchased everything from eBay. My wife and friends consider themselves pretty "hip," and I always find shopping difficult this season because there is basically nothing you can buy for them in town that is "cool enough." eBay opens up so many doors, especially buying international items.
Yes! We start shopping right after Halloween and try be be done no later than a week after Thanksgiving. There is just way too much going on in the latter parts of December to worry about those last minute gifts.
Ever since moving out to CA, I've done most, if not all, of my Christmas shopping online. It makes for a nice, hassle free, and quick shopping trip and everyone back home gets their presents on time...provided I finish up around Dec. 17th or so. So thanks to Amazon.com, thinkgeek.com, and despair.com I'm all done and everything has made it well before Christmas! Thankfully most of my family is ranges from slight to very geeky so that makes it pretty easy to find things for them all.
Nope - I'm always doing things at the last minute :(
I finished my Christmas shopping already only because this year I bought presents only for the closest family members and friends because of lack of money.
As far as things we planned to shop for, yes. I still have my eye on a stocking stuffer for my wife, though. And you just never know what might catch your eye before time is up.
Not even close. I have to shop for my mom and step father, and maybe some friends here and there. Plus some cousins and aunts. Oh, and some people I know who have kids. And don't forget the mailman, gotta get him a christmas card.
I always try to finish by Thanksgiving to give myself a little breather room during the holidays. This year, I finished on November 28. Hopefully we will all have enough money for Christmas next year.
I haven't done any this year. Because of the recession and all, I asked my wife to craft gifts for everyone, and that's what she did. Now we've got mountains of ornaments, potholders, dishtowels, blankets, and other crafted items for assorted family members.
Just no ugly sweaters, she has some self respect.

I'm never done with Christmas shopping...it's a year-round enterprise for me. But I have finally boxed everything to ship to family for 2008, and it's going out today. Unfortunately, by FedEx.

I have to get something for my parents and my brother yet, but since we're not seeing them until New Years that's fine. Other than that, I'm done.
Yes. This is a yes or no question, so my answer is simply yes.
NO! , and i procrastinated to the last second , ahhhhhhhh!
i finished in August....gift giving has gotten too impersoanl and out of hand-too many people think its about how much tehy spend--I am happier with low cost gifts that a lot of thought went into..
I buy gift cards for the Point Pleasnat NJ boardwalk arcade for my nieces---so I have to get them over the summer while I am down there....I also try to get a personal item (inexpensive)......they already have so much---the gift card is something they really enjoy....
