Sundin will be a help to any team that picks him up. I am thinking he'll end up in New York.

Ultimately it comes down to who offers him the better deal, at least to some extent. Despite the fact that the Rangers don't have a lot of cap space, they could make some last-minute moves to free up a bit more for Sundin. He has said he wants to play on the East Coast, so I could even see him accepting a lesser contract with the Rangers for the location and the fact that the Rangers are pretty hot here lately. If I were to bet I would put my money on New York.
