Where do you buy a yo-yo? I haven't seen one in years! How many yo-yo tricks are there?

You should be able to pick one up at any toy store chain. I'd recommend Duncan's Yo-yos. As to the number of tricks, the page below has 43, and I'm sure there are easily several more variations, possibly resulting in well over a hundred tricks.
