What's a good name for a far future fictional kind of martial art?
I don't know enough to describe this art in detail, and its probably not possible to have all of these at once, but it was designed to benefit an entire planet rather than one group at the expense of another.
Ideally, it would be relatively easy to take someone down without injuring them (especially in an unequal combat), healthy to practice with a minimum of injuries but good exercise, useful against all unarmed combat styles in the real world, and even useful against armed opponents in the right circumstances.
Its been suggested to me the form might be related to both Jui Jitsu and Tai Chi.
I'd like an oriental sounding name, if possible with a real meaning.

Or just add a "do" (do means art, right?) to "peace", Tetsudo.

Aikido is definitely the form used today for the same purpose, except as with any martial art, it's pretty useless against bullets. The goal of the practitioner is to help their opponent(s) not hurt themselves or you.
