My favorite Quilting product is Triangles on a Roll. The paper roll has the stitching and cutting lines for perfect half square triangles. The rolls are offered for finished sizes ranging from 1" to 6".

To use, you layer the paper over 2 strips of fabric with right sides together. Then you sew on the stitching line, following the arrows until you get back to where you started. Next, you use a rotary cutter and ruler to cut at the marked cutting line. You remove the paper and press your half squares open. Perfect, no distortion on the bias.

I love this product, because the sewing process can be done well even when you are very tired. The stitching is a bit hypnotic. The end result is and accurate half square triangle.

If anyone finds a good demonstration video on the web, post it in the User Recommended Links section of http://www.mahalo.com/quilting/

I would like to share it on-line with quilters who haven't tried the product so they can really see how it works.

I could not live without my roto cutter. It literally saves HOURS of time.
I like the bigger one not the little tiny one. I also tried the curved one for fleece and would rather stick to my old favorite. I notice it dulls faster with fleece but I still use it. I also have a sharpener for them to make them last longer.
