I want to be a millionaire! Of course I was told the other day that millionaires are a dime a dozen... but then the person that told me that isn't a millionaire so what does he know?
I think I've always had this dream. I know that's lame, but finances and being financially independent has been something that interested me since I first learned about the concept of money.
Anyway, my family and I cut up the credit cards. We're using 1/3 of our income to get out of debt. We save up for emergencies. We parked our car for the Spring and the summer. We're also going vegetarian. I learned about investments so that we won't have to pay anyone to invest for us. We started at a young age and we're investing a little bit of money so that compound interest has plenty of time to work for us.
We stopped eating out and I learned to cook from home so that we can still eat good food. We clip coupons, buy 2nd hand, sell items we no longer use or want, and we compare prices online before purchasing big ticket items.

Great goal! Flesh it out a little and it would be a help to others who perhaps don't know how to be a great dad.
