The best way to clean fiber paper off of a fused glass piece is to run it under some water in the sink and gently clean it. You can even use a little soap if needed, but it might not be necessary.
Don't let the fiber paper poof in the air, because you don't want to breathe in the particles... but running it under water and letting the paper particles rinse away is perfectly safe and an easy way to clean the glass.
