How can I learn to juggle 5 balls better? I can juggle 2, 3, and 4, but struggling with 5.

If you have any tips, ideas, or thoughts to teach me to juggle 5 balls, let me know! Thanks, and if you can juggle 5, let me know as well.

My answer is keep working at it daily. Five balls is really hard. Your muscles probably don't have the memory and fitness combination yet to do it, so there's too much conscious focus on the juggling.

Another thing that will help is, try other juggling patterns. Trying other juggling patterns really works your brain. That's a principle that doesn't just apply to juggling ... video games, other sports, etc are a good place to try other patterns.

Here's a site I found. It's not the best. Youtube is the best. But here's a start:

I was actually pretty close when I first started trying, but I gave up in just a few days :( It's been about two years since I've tried again. Actually this question you posted has me wondering if I should go ahead and buy a set of those really good juggling balls or juggling bean bags, or maybe even just hacky sacks.

I cannot do 5, but I will share a juggler's quote that always stuck with me:

Learning to juggle 3 balls well takes a day. Learning to juggle 5 balls well takes a year.

Keep at it!

The quote comes from Michael Goudeau during his time on the Penn Jillette podcast.
