They are very scarse.

I've never seen any actual studies, but, my guess is that there is an equal number of "proved" vs "debunked" studies. As with anything of this ilk, it's what you make of it... Numerology was based on some very important information like when to plant crops and how many calves are appropriate for a cow to have. There's part science and part spiritual in everything... even "hard" science.
