Marcia Hohn's site, http://www.quilterscache.com/ has a beautiful, constantly updated collection of hundreds of free quilt block patterns, with examples of real quilts made from them and all the information you need for successful quilt-making.

She designs original blocks, both rotary-cut and paper-pieced, as well as updating all the classics.
