The Mallows of the Mountains once, in a mighty epic battle, overcame the Mallows of the Valley. The Mallows of the Valley were a fat lazy people, many of then suffered from the dreaded Sweet Tooth, and so were almost constantly sticcky sweet. After the battle, the Valley Mallows ran as fast as they could (which wasn't very fast, being fat as they were) for the Sea, but became lost in a Marsh. When the Mountain Mallows caught up to them, they set the Marsh ablaze!! et voila!!! The very first Roasted Marsh Mallows!!!!
The women of the Mountain Mallows created the fluffy sweet confection we now call the Marshmallow to remember their great victory over the Mallows of the Valley.
