Marcus Wayne Chenault, the black Muslim killer of Mrs. Alberta Williams King died in prison. He was placed in isolation for the first few weeks. He was not put in a "mental ward." He was examined thoroughly and declared mentally competent for trial, assisted his defense counsel. There were no reports of outrage against him. After he was convicted, he was moved to "death row" during his appeals, which was isolated. After numerous appeals, the State agreed to drop the death penalty...he died in prison shortly thereafter of natural causes.
