Federal officials declared the man responsible for the worst act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history dead by lethal injection at 7:14 a.m. (8:14 a.m. EDT)
Timothy McVeigh, 33, was executed by lethal injection for his part in the Oklahoma City Bombings. The April 19, 1995, attack killed 168 people and wounded hundreds more.
This was the first federal execution since 1963.

June 11th, 2001 the U.S. Supreme Court declared that police had violated a homeowners, (Kyllo vs United States), 4th amendment rights by using a thermal-imaging device without a warrant to look for a marijuana growing operation. I love the fluidity of American Law.

June 11, 1962, John and Clarence Anglin and Frank Lee Morris escaped Alcatraz prison. They were never located and assumed drowned in the freezing waters surrounding Alcatraz.
