Is there any way you can track previous owners on travel trailers?

My boyfriend is dead set that his trailer he just got used to be a in a carnival..but is there any way we can track it? We have a serial number and an LNI number...Anybody know?

LOL why would he think that? I would think maybe going through the DMV might be helpful.
