The people live through the present moment without thinking that this in the middle of something. The Middle Ages are a convention or agreement between the modern historians to divide the history of the humanity in periods according to its common characteristics and to facilitate its study. Probably we themselves are the Middle Ages for historians of the future who do a new agreement.
But to arrive safe to the future would be suitable to solve before the climatic change and the deterioration of the cap of ozone.
