I do now and it seems he deserves one.
Milton Friedman was a staunch advocate of the free market and a celebrated American economist, he was a driving force in minimizing the role of government in politics and shaped the views of many modern economists.

He passed away in November 2006.

The Economist once hailed Milton Friedman as "The most influential economist of the second half of the 20th century…possibly of all of it"

In 1976 Miltion Friedman was awarded the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.

2009 was the third year Milton Friedman Legacy Day has been observed.
