Jaydiohead is a mash-up someone did of Jay-Z and Radiohead. What do you think?

To me, it sounds very clever at first and it's easy to groove to Jay-Z's lyrics over these familiar hooks. Do we really need more of these mash-ups, though?

I like this mashup much more than the previous Jay-Z mashup with The Beatles on The Grey Album, which Danger Mouse produced. For some reason, the beats and the groove are more fluid here and make it easier to appreciate Hova's rhymes. For some reason, the Beatles mashup had much more choppy, fragmented grooves that kind of broke up the continuity and made it so you could recognize the splices and studio cuts. The best mashup's in my opinions are the ones that hide the seems best.

We need these mashups if they can extract more emotional juice from songs we've already bled dry. I think they often can.

I still think a mashup of a Jay Z with a Wire song is one of the best tracks I've ever heard. But I lost it and can't find it. I'm downloading this JayZ/Radioheash mashup now.
