After having a cardiolite ST and an echo, I have received a dx of dyastolic dysfunction. What is this dx and can it be corrected?

I have been prescribed Diovan, Tenormin, and a baby asprin. I continue to have chest pain and some shortness of breath, but have been assured I am doing fine.
