Here's my recipe:
First steam the broccoli, but don't over cook. Heat up some olive oil and throw in some crushed/chopped garlic. Saute for a few minutes and season with salt and maybe some crushed red pepper.
You can also do this with broccoli rabe.
Serve alone or tossed with pasta (vegan pasta made w/out eggs of course).

By the way... my neuropsych professor said that you have to have fat with broccoli. The fat carries the primary nutrients across the stomach/intestine barrier. Otherwise, you don't get all the good stuff...

Steamed with some fresh parmesian cheese sprinkled over it. Might not be vegan, but it's good! By the way... my neuropsych professor said that you have to have fat with broccoli.
