What are some good homemade post-yoga snacks?

I'm looking for recipes that are filling and good on-the-go, while balancing protein and carbohydrates. I do most of my yoga between 8am and 12pm, so I really want recipes that make up for missed brekkie.

Obviously, you want something that is nourishing for your body and brain, and as you said, since you are missing breakfast something that will help fill you up.

Try this recipe for a homemade muesli (think trail mix). You could make a big portion of this ahead of time and bag some up to take with you and munch on after yoga The great part about this is you could add your own ingredients to customize it to your liking; different fruits, nuts, seeds, etc. You are getting protein from the nuts, healthy carbs from the oats and seeds, and the vitamins from the fruit:

Ingredients
85 grams jumbo oats
5 grams flax seeds
10 grams sliced almonds
2 apricots, chopped
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 apple, grated
1/8 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Soak the oats, flax seeds, almonds and apricots in just enough water to cover for 12 hours

Blend the soaked stuff with everything else (or mix in the grated apple by hand for a chunkier texture)

Serve with toppings such as fresh fruit, kefir, nut milk or raw honey

If it's soaked in water for 12 hours, wouldn't it be kind of a moist snack?

It may sound like it, but you are only using a tiny bit of water. The oats absorb quite a bit and expand, and the water also serves a purpose; soaking flax seeds is a common practice because the water breaks down the enzyme inhibitors in the seeds and releases the enzymes so your body can absorb them.
