I have the same feelings you do when I sleep all day. I feel like I wasted the whole day and I feel like I wasted another day of my life, but then I look at the bright side and tell myself that I have the whole night to make up for what I didn't get to do during the day such as: clean, shower, work, go to school. I mean of course there are limitations but a lot of the stuff you feel guilty about not being able to do because you were sleeping all day you can make up for most of the things at night. And the guilty feelings I get when I sleep all day stem from not achieving anything, feeling worthless, feeling lazy, and I feel as if I missed something. But when I wake up and get some things done, I feel much better. I wish the best to you.

You could be making up for lost sleep throught the week, or the fact you're sleeping during the day is affecting how much you can sleep at night, and therefore causing you to sleep during the day.
The body's sleep cycle varies from one person to the next, and you must also take into account your Circadian rhythm as to when you should be sleeping, for your best chanes at staying awake.
Also making sure you have something entertaining to do, such as watching an interesting movie or going for a walk.
Exercise will also help keep you on a regular sleep schedule, some people say it's best to sleep about 3-4 hours after you workout.
As for the guilt, it seems you know you shouldn't be sleeping then, so it's really up to you to take initiative and keep yourself awake thorugh various means.

If you feel guilty after, that means you're sleeping too much. You feel you should have been doing something else instead of sleeping.
Do you sleep because you're sleepy or tired? Or you just want to avoid doing something you need to do or set it aside for a while, so you sleep.
If you cannot help it, you feel sleepy in the day, when you have enough sleep the night before, try to consult a doctor if you feel it is not normal for you.
