Honey is said to be good in combatting anxiety. Drink Orange juice with a teaspoon of honey and a pinch of nutmeg claims to be good when having anxiety attacks. This drink is easy to prepare , you can find it in your own cupboard immediately, if you have a sudden attacks.

There are other natural remedies. You can try a massage, a relaxing bath, drink a cup of tea, etc. Check website below.

A visit to a professional can be beneficial.

Learning a form of meditation is a good way of controlling thoughts. Or simply observing them, if they are unwanted, acknowledge the thought, but tell it it´s not welcome right now and good bye. Takes some practice, but is a very good way. Anxiety can have many causes. Speaking of personal experience, I´m allergic to certain chemicals in food, especially processed food which can cause me from anxiety attacks to thoughts of suicide without any apparent reason. I am a fairly happy and content person. To combat it, I try to "reason" with the anxiety or the suicidal thought and tell it that we KNOW it´s from food additives etc. and it WILL go away after a day or two. So far this helped me and I´m obviously very careful with my diet now. Should it get worse, I´d be prepared to seek professional help.
