Whereas the watermelon diet, all you eat is watermelon in order to flush out the body of toxins and eliminate cravings.
Both diets you should speak to a doctor about starting, as they both contain significant risks to your health. You would need to take a multivitamin while on both diets to make sure you're getting your daily allowance of vitamins.
If you love watermelon, it can't hurt to try this diet. If you like lemonade, you might want to try this diet. When you go on the lemonade diet, you'll be adding a lot of citrus to your diet, which could cause mouth sores.

I've never heard of the watermelon diet, but the lemonade diet contains, a freshly made glass of lemon juice, a TBS of maple syrup, and a tsp of Cayenne pepper. YUMM! My in-laws used to have a glass every morning and it was very successful for them. Other people use it as a one time only cleanse, for ten or more days, with no solid foods.

They lemonade diet is also referred to as the Master Cleanse. Mahalo describes the diet in detail on How to do the Master Cleanse. The recipe for one day's worth of "lemonade" is as follows: 1. 60 oz water
2. 12 tablespoons Organic Grade B maple syrup
3. 12 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
4. A little over half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper

The lemonade diet is being pushed as an "intestinal cleanser" which makes it look like you're losing weight by flushing your system. Getting your colon flushed by a professional produces similar results without drinking a special concoction. There is no shortcut to long term weight loss. Lifestyle changes and time is how most people gained the weight, so it is logical that that's what it will take to lose it.
Notice the ingredients of the "lemonade diet" (linked below). Some of those ingredients are very hard on your body (such as too much citric acid, cayenne pepper, etc). Always consult with your Doctor before starting any weight loss program.
Some claim that colon cleansing (hydrotherapy) can help you lose up to 30 pounds. It's important to understand what those 30 pounds are made from and if you personally will benefit from this treatment.
A healthy balanced diet and moderate exercise is always the best.
NOTE: The third link is a reference to the "weight loss claim" and should not be taken as a suggested course of action by me.
