It really depends on your age. (standard sleeping amount: 1mo-15.5 3mo-15 6mo-14.25 9mo-14 1yr-13.75 18mo-13.5 2yr-13 3yr-12 5yr-10 14yr-9 18yr-8.25 19yr-8 33yr-7hr.) Hypersomnia is more than 10hrs a night in an adult for an extended period. Insomnia is less than 6hrs, or severe insomnia is 4hrs in adults.
