I wouldn't say that one is better than the other. It's all a matter of what you're looking for and where you get the most satisfaction. Yoga is more about breathing while pilates focuses on strength and muscle building. Karate is more of a sport and competition and aerobics are great for weight loss and burning calories. I would suggest trying them all once and seeing what you like.

I think that it depends on what you need in your life. Yoga is a very zen workout where Pilates is zen and a REAL workout. I think aerobics is high energy and karate is a very respected, patient and intense workout - then that might be for you!
I suggest whichever it is you want, you make a solid commitment to and then write and let us know how it goes!
