The National Survey on Drug Use and Health (2006/7 data) found:
Full time college students who were non-medical users of Adderall were considerably more likely to have used marijuana, cocaine, prescription tranquilizers, and prescription pain relievers. The study doesn't indicate if addiction results but anyone taking adderall should be aware of the risks.
For example, calls to to poison control centers for ADHD drug abuse rose 76% as noted on prescription drug abuse page.

Adderall is a brand-name drug used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. ----quote----
Adderall is a brand-name drug psychostimulant composed of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine, which is thought to work by increasing the amount of dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain. Adderall is widely reported to increase alertness, concentration and overall cognitive performance while decreasing user fatigue. It is available in two formulations: immediate release (IR) and extended release (XR). The immediate release formulation is indicated for use in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy, while the XR formulation is only approved for use in ADHD. In the United States, Adderall is a Schedule II drug under the Controlled Substance Act. The drug is regulated due to its addiction and abuse potential.
