What are your thoughts about allergies?

Do you have allergies, if so, to what? How do you find ways to tolerate them?

I thought about this because I stepped on a wasp nest in the ground. I'm glad I don't have allergies to bee or wasp stings. Because I really feel for people who have a lethal allergy to it. (Doctors recommend carrying antihistamine kits for this.)

Some people think allergies are "all in your head" and ignore their own allergies, and poke fun of other people's allergies. What do you think of this?

There are so many people who have allergies, makes me wonder if it doesn't have something to do with the preservatives in our store boughten foods or the environment rather than strictly inheriting them from our parents. I have allergies as well as my husband and sons. I take the preventative Singular everyday, but still have occasional flare ups that takes me weeks to get over. My youngest son gets reoccurring sinus infections and my oldest son has very frequent flare ups that he deals with on a pretty regular basis.
