Pancreatic cancer is difficult to spot early on because of the way the pancreas is located deep inside the human body, and the fact that this particular type of cancer evolves without showing evident symptoms.

Although no specific symptoms could be observed, generic ones could point to pancreatic cancer:

- loss of apetite
- general weakness
- loss of weight
- dizziness
- diarrhea

The main thing to do, if you have a history of cancer in the family is to try to catch it early on, by doing tests in your doctor. Specially if you are over 50 - the age at which this type of cancer attacks the most, and you drink and/or smoke.

Simple blood and urine tests are performed to catch the cancer, so there is no reason to be afraid and testing often, when you reach that age.
